Peter Eisenhut founded Eisenhut & associates (formerly UtiliTel) in 1992 as a utility bill auditing company. Prior to June 1992, Mr. Eisenhut held senior level positions at the IBM Corporation. As a Senior Business Planner, he was responsible for financial and competitive evaluations of proposed document imaging products. As a Senior Internal Auditor, he led teams of auditors who assessed the effectiveness of IBM's management processes. This included audits of contracts, vendor payments, and information security. While at IBM, he also held positions as a cost engineer, systems analyst, and manager. As a manager, he was responsible for customer service and for measuring and reporting performance of two large data centers in the mid-Hudson Valley, NY.  

Today, Eisenhut provides a full array of consulting services focused on helping clients get the most value from their IT and telecommunications investments and software. Mr. Eisenhut has always believed in a high ethical standard and as a member of the Society of Telecommunications Consultants signs a code of ethics annually.  

Eisenhut & associates are hired to do the following: (1) Develop and evaluate short and long-term plans. (2) Audit bills and expenses, implement changes, and measure results. Peter Eisenhut is a full consultant member of the Society of Telecommunications Consultants. As an STC member, he is required to be independent of hardware and software vendors, and abides by a strict code of ethics.

Problem: Inefficiency and high telecommunications cost due to rapid growth.
Solution: We audited the headquarters and 14 of the 110 managed apartment and elder care facilities.
We implemented changes that reduced expenses by 21%. Another 8% was recommended but not implemented. We also recommended improvements to the process for paying bills and for setting up new locations.
