The Robert Thomas Group ("RTG") was founded in 1993 in Chicago with a mission of becoming the finest lease audit firm representing tenants throughout the USA. During the period 1993 to present, RTG maintained a laser focus on that mission. In the process, we have reviewed and audited thousands of commercial real estate leases and collected millions of dollars of refunds for an assortment of prestigious clients.

RTG is a specialty lease audit firm serving tenants occupying space in office buildings, shopping centers, warehouses or manufacturing spaces. Our goal is to help clients reduce costs on their leased portfolio.

RTG's staff includes experienced, appropriately degreed and credentialed real estate professionals including certified public accountants and an attorney. We have audited buildings of various sizes ranging from 5,000 rentable square feet (rsf) to more than 3,000,000 rsf.

We are equipped to handle clients of any size (with one lease or a thousand leases), in any location in the USA.

Approximately 85% of our audits are for office space with the remaining 15% for retail space and operations / warehouse space.
